Paralegal Testimonial

I first met Mena whilst studying for my undergraduate law degree during my placement year at Goodhand and Forsyth, where she was engaged as a consultant solicitor in the firm’s family department. I was initially interviewed for my position at Goodhand and Forsyth by Mena and she later became my training supervisor.

It was immediately apparent that Mena possessed an unparalleled standard of practice for family law as a result of her exceptional attention to detail in practice and her cutting edge knowledge of the law owing to her position within CLT as a lecturer for legal practitioners and with UWE for family law LPC students.

Whilst Mena developed my skills in matrimonial finance, divorce proceedings and Children Act applications in a short space of time, she also focused my attention upon essential, yet less recognised, skills for my legal career. This included the ability to sell the services of the firm effectively, consider effective advertisement strategies and also develop alternative fee structures. These skills have been extremely useful to me throughout both my legal profession and other business ventures and this is a direct result of Mena’s fantastic and forward thinking training skills.

Whilst Mena is no longer my training principle she remains a good friend and mentor and has been of invaluable assistance during my ongoing legal career, particularly in light of her in depth knowledge of the new training regulations for trainee solicitors and paralegals as a result of her new company Law CPD solutions
